For those who don’t know, I just turned 22 last week. You can read all about my birthday party here! After a super fun weekend, I went on a little adventure on my actual birthday where I collected some free goodies all over town that you can get only on your birthday. I posted a picture on my Snapchat of all my loot and my friends went crazy! They kept asking me how I got all this stuff for free, so here is a quick rundown of some places that will give you something free on your birthday and how you can get it:
Ulta: Ulta has an amazing rewards program that always emails you coupons and updates on their products. My favorite feature is the free gift you get on your birthday. You can register for a card/account at the store or online here for free. Just go to the store and show them the email! Last year I got an Urban Decay eyeshadow and this year I got Clinique mascara. You also get 2x the amount of points your whole birthday month, which can save you some money later on.
BareMinerals: When you sign up for the BareMinerals loyalty rewards program you get a free birthday gift!
Moe’s Southwestern Grill: Download the Moe’s app and you’ll get all of these deals for free things. Just bring your phone to Moe’s and you’ll get a free bowl or burrito.
Starbucks: When you sign up for Starbucks Rewards, you will get any free drink (yes literally any size and type) on your birthday. Here is the link to sign up but I’m pretty sure you need a physical Starbucks giftcard or the app to make it work.
Jersey Mikes: I signed up online to receive Jersey Mike’s emails and then they sent me a coupon for a free sub and drink. The coupon is good for the entire year, until your next birthday. Just show them the email when you go. Click here to sign up!
Baskin Robbins: Sign up for their birthday club and you’ll get a free ice cream on your birthday.
Buffalo Wild Wings: So it’s called the ‘Buffalo Circle’ and when you sign up online you get sent an email for free snack-size wings (bone or boneless). It has to be sit in and lasts a week after your birthday. There is a lot of fine print in this coupon and your offer may be different, so read the fine print. Click here to join.
Cinnabon: When you join club Cinnabon, they will send you an email with a random coupon for a sweet treat. This year I got a free iced coffee. Click here to sign up.
Cold Stone Creamery: Sign up for My Cold Stone Rewards program and on your birthday you’ll get a BOGO coupon.
Auntie Anne’s: Download the Auntie Anne’s app and you can get a free pretzel at your local store!
BJ’s Brewhouse: Get a free pizookie (the best!!!!) when you sign up for their Premier Rewards.
Olive Garden: Get a free appetizer or dessert when you sign up for Olive Garden’s Eclub.
Ben & Jerry’s: Sign up for their newsletter by clicking here and get a free birthday scoop!
DSW: This is my favorite deal that I got. When you sign up for their email list, you get sent a $5 coupon for your birthday month. I think they ended up sending me two of these! Also, when you become a member (totally for free) you can get other deals like $20 off $49. Because of all of these deals, I like got my favorite pair of shoes for less than half the original price. Sign up here!
Firehouse Subs: Get a free medium sandwich when you sign up for the Firehouse Rewards program.
IHOP: You’ll get a lot of deals when you sign up for ‘Pancake Revolution’ and one of them is some free pancakes on your birthday. The only catch is you have to print out the email and go to your designated local. Sign up here!
Denny’s: Just tell your server it’s your birthday and you can get a free Grand Slam! FYI: you may have to show your ID to prove it.
Dunkin’ Donuts: Sign up for DD Perks here and you can receive a free drink for your birthday! I’m sure it also works when you download the app.
Keep in mind that you may have to prove its your actual birthday with an ID and there may be restrictions for each deal. I also advise you to sign up way in advance and be prepared to receive a bunch of emails and deals- seriously, your email will get flooded by these companies. I have a designated email specifically for these deals. Is that too much? Didn’t think so.
Hope this helps! Thanks for reading! xx
