I just had the best weekend when I attended the 15th Annual Autumn Wine Festival. I was able to walk around and enjoy various vendors and sample some quality wines. While that was the whole point of the festival, the part I enjoyed the most was volunteering and pouring samples of wine for the Olney Winery. Because I was a volunteer, I got free entry into the festival, a free bottle of wine and got to meet so many hilarious and fun people. The entire time I was pouring samples I was making friends and cracking jokes with everyone who came up. The Olney Winery employees are an absolute blast and made volunteering a complete joy, even when I got stung by a bee. After the festival was over on the first day, all of the employees and volunteers went out for pizza at one of my favorite places. The next day was even crazier than the last and we sold so many bottles, we were practically cleared out. I really hope I get to volunteer and work for them in the future. I don’t know a lot about wine, but I do know that people who love wine are my kind of people.
When I wasn’t wearing my “Got Stained” Olney Winery volunteer shirt, I wore this new top from American Eagle. It was surprisingly hot during the festival, so I was sweating out in the sun for most of the day. I put this shirt back on for pizza with the gang that night and it was much cooler and more comfortable. I got these jeans from American Eagle on sale a few months ago and wore them in this post. I honestly love AE jeans because the “long” style are actually the perfect fit for my long legs and thick thighs. I am also so excited to finally share these Sam Edelman boots on the blog because they are my favorite pair of shoes that I own. I have wide calves and these riding boots are such a great fit and don’t suffocate my legs. I linked similar boots, shirts and jeans below.
