(Oops I almost forgot about this post) I am a firm believer that the weeks in between Thanksgiving and Christmas are the worst for college students. I have a ton of tests, research papers and projects all due by the end of the semester so I am swamped.I’m hoping these next few weeks will fly by so I can focus on the holidays. the bright side, I’ll most likely be living in my leggings, yoga pants and flannels for the next few weeks. This is my go-to “lazy college kid” look, for days when I just need to focus on school, but don’t want to look like a walking trashcan.
I never really think of myself as very fashion forward, especially when it comes to my everyday style. Here is one of my favorite things to wear to class: flannel, leggings and my white Converse. It’s rare if I even put on a bra if I’m slumming it to class or studying. I’m pretty selective when it comes to wearing my glasses too because while I am near-sided, this only tends to be a problem when I’m in a lecture hall or trying to look at a PowerPoint from far away. I also don’t like to put my hair up because I hate how my head looks in a ponytail. So even if I’m being lazy or my hair is dirty, I still keep it down or in a side braid. So I am like the worst friend ever and I had Allison here wake up at 6:30 a.m. one morning to take these pics of me…even when it was like 40 degrees outside and she had a sinus infection. What a trooper.
I wear white Converse pretty much everyday, to the point where I end up destroying them. I’m serious. I get holes in them and they turn brown. I tell people every morning I wake up, run these shoes over with my car, then put them on my feet-and thats why they look like that. But this pair is brand new! I actually got them for more than half off! If you haven’t already signed up with DSW emails, do it! It was all the coupons I got from them that made these shoes $20. I got this shirt on sale from American Eagle and the leggings are originally Victoria’s Secret but I don’t think VS sells this lounge leggings anymore.
