Last January I was lucky enough to study abroad with two of my best friends for none other than a photography class. This was, without a doubt, the most amazing trip of my entire life. I went to London, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam in just 3 weeks. I am probably going to separate each of those places into its own blog post, so today is all about London. I spent most of my time there and I feel like I truly made the most of it. The point of the trip was to learn about digital photography, so we had several photo assignments that we had to document, edit and turn in at the end of the trip; no wonder I have so many photos to share! My apologies if you find this post to be extremely long. I tried to keep only the best and most important pictures. Sad part is, this is really only the highlight reel. I saw and did a lot while I was over there, but not everything needs to be photographed. Hope you enjoy my photos!

“Remnants of the War” Photo Project:
This was the theme of one of my photo projects. I tried to find any remaining “evidence” of any kind of war in London. Here are a few shots.
Tower of London:
Wicked and Kicky Boots:
I have always loved theatre and Broadway shows in London are so cheap! I saw Wicked for the first time ever and Kinky Boots was absolutely amazing!
St. Paul’s Cathedral:

Women’s March: Trafalger Square
I wasn’t even aware that a Woman’s March was going to be in London, so when my friend and I were walking around finishing one of our projects, I was thrilled to see it happening in Trafalger Square. What a cool moment in history I got to witness and be a part of.
Last Night in London:
Getting to experience Europe for the first time during this school trip was a dream. Not many people get to say they traveled abroad ever- let alone with two of their best friends. I created such wild and amazing memories during this adventure, made some new friends and got to experience so much in such a short time. I learned so much about Lightroom and how to work my camera: it has truly made me a better photographer and for that I am thankful.
Honestly, I don’t even recognize myself in any of these photos. For anyone just tuning into my blog and realizing that my face looks incredibly different in these pictures, that is because this trip was roughly 5 months pre-op. I don’t even feel like these pictures are me, and this was only a year ago. Wild.
If anyone has any questions about my trip, comment below! I am not an expert, but I would love to share details of my trip and what I did to make the most of my time other there.
Thanks for reading! xx
