I’m currently working on my tan at the beach with my family. Every other year we spend a week at Bethany Beach with my cousins and its always a loud, rowdy, good time. Even though my tan lines are super noticeable in this outfit, I low key love tan lines because they prove that I’m tanner than I was before. (Anyone else like this?) I surprisingly haven’t gotten burned yet, so I figured now was a good chance to show off this outfit. I love wearing high-waisted soft shorts because I have big thighs and a little tummy pouch. Soft shorts like this don’t squeeze too tight and they look super flattering (especially on the hips and tummy). I’m on vacation, so of course I want to be comfortable, show off my tan and look cute on the beach. I think this outfit pretty much sums it all up (tan lines and all)!
I call these my “want to speak to the manager”sunglasses. Whenever I put them on, I take on a whole new persona of “Kim, 35, single mom of 2, drinks Spiked Seltzer at her son’s soccer games, flirts with the pool boy and wants to speak to the manager.”
