Having just graduated from college, I’m not ashamed to admit I’ve had my fair share of rough mornings that involve chugging a bottle of water, eating Saltines, scraping last nights make-up off my face and trying to untangle the birds nest on top of my head. Hey, we’ve all be there. But during all of those times of hitting a low point, I’ve discovered a few handy-dandy products that make me look a lot better than I actually feel when I have stuff to do. So if you’re like me and you’re just trying to make it to Denny’s the morning after a night out, the library to study for a big test or just back to your bed without looking like a total mess, try out these products.

Micellar Cleansing Water: I want to start by saying I think this is better than make-up wipes. I try to use cotton balls or tissues with it (because toilet paper tends to break and leave unwanted fuzzies on my face). Micellar water doesn’t have a strong odor and doesn’t leave a burning feeling on your face. I like that I can control how much or little liquid I can use on my face. I hate when a make-up wipe dries out before I’ve gotten to use it, but I also don’t like having to much access left on my face. This is a great product for when you forget to take your make-up off before you fall asleep and it gets all crusty and smudged by morning.
Simple Face Moisturizer: After having been on Accutane for 6 months my freshman year of college, I tried out a bunch of face moisturizers to try to stop the barren desert that was my skin. I truly believe this is one of the best moisturizers. Simple products are really great for sensitive skin. I’ve known some products to burn my skin, but this moisturizer does not! I prefer the rich moisturizer because my skin can get really dry, especially when I’m dehydrated. I want to emphasize that moisturizing at a time when you’re not feeling 100%, or really slumming it can make you feel and look better.
Dove Dry Shampoo: This has become an absolute lifesaver for me. I honestly can’t remember what I was doing before dry shampoo. I’ve tried a bunch of different dry shampoos but I’ve decided I like the Dove brand best because it doesn’t leave white residue that makes me look like I have grey hair. If you’ve never used dry shampoo after a work out or night out or just to poof up your hair after a long day, what are you doing boo?!
