If I’m being completely honest, I could have made this entire ’13 Posts of Halloween’ series just Taylor Swift outfits if I wanted to. Unfortunately its a little too late in the game and I don’t have unlimited resources so we’ll stick with these 5. Happy day 6 of my costumes! Whether this is the first post you’re reading or you’ve followed along through these posts this entire time, I appreciate you. And if this isn’t the first blog post you’ve ever read of mine, you know I am 10000%, whole-heartedly obsessed with Taylor Swift. I have been since I was 14. I went to 3 of her shows this summer (you can read about that here) so its no surprise that I am showcasing these 5 classic T.Swift looks today.
Yeehaw Fetus/ Debut Album
I wore this dress to my 3rd reputation show in July! That was when I held Taylor’s hand at barricade so I’m a BIG FAN of this dress. I thought it looked more like the dress she wears for ‘Style’ in the 1989 tour but I already had an idea for 1989 era Taylor, so I used it for this outfit. All I had to do was throw this dress on with cowboy boots and BAM-young 16 year old Taylor Swift with a country accent and sparkly guitar appears. I tried to make my hair as curly as possible and went for a more neutral lip color since she didn’t really start wearing red lipstick until the Fearless era.
Junior Jewels
Allison wore this to that same concert and she was so precise with making this shirt as similar to the original shirt as she could. This is probably the easiest costume on here because all you need is a white t-shirt, markers, pajama pants and glasses. I put my hair in a low ponytail and curled the front strands of my hair. If you really want the ultimate effect hold up an “I’m Sorry” or “I Love You” sign or be shady and write the names of some of your friends on the shirt. (Lets see who makes the cut).
I Knew You Were Trouble
IKYWT is one of her best music videos, especially because of the intro. And yes, I used a Lightroom mask to make my hair pink but I was really running low on sunlight so I didn’t have time to use the hair chalk I had originally intended on. I also made this t-shirt but cutting it up and using black paint for the design. Don’t forget to smudge your eyeliner and make it look like you slept outside all night after being left in a desert by your cheating, problematic boyfriend.

Blank Space
‘Blank Space’ is one of my favorite music video of all times. Everything Taylor embodies in that MV is incredible, jaw-dropping, astounding and GOALS. I will die on this hill if I have to. That being said, I have always wanted to do a Blank Space Taylor for Halloween but I never have (tragic, I know). This outfit is really easy! All you need is a leopard print top or dress, red lipstick and black eye make-up to smear down your face. I have honestly never felt truer to myself then when I looked like this. #bigmood
Look What You Made Me Do
Here is the link to the details for this costume I did last year. The real sequin tiger I originally ordered for it came a day after Halloween so I finally get to wear it this year. The boots are still very hard to walk in, but hey beauty is pain. I seriously love this costume and am so happy I could wear it again, even just for a minute.
Any fellow Swifties reading this blog? I would love about your costume if you’re dressing up as Taylor this year! Comment below!
