Wow, I can’t believe I’ve been doing this for a week already. And yes, I am wearing shorts under the shirt in every one of these pictures. Today is day 7 of ’13 Posts of Halloween” and I want to give a personal shoutout to Autumn for taking these pictures for me yesterday right before we went to dinner. Life is really crazy right now trying to get these daily posts out and working full time and making time for friends. But thankfully this post involves the same outfit for all three costumes, just different accessories. See, I’m making it easy for y’all!

JUST TAKE THOSE OLD RECORDS OFF THE SHELF
So yes, technically the shirt Tom Cruise wears in Risky Business is pink, but this blog post is about a white button down (pay attention). Girls used to wear this costume all the time when I was at school and I can understand why. It’s literally so easy, especially if you have a boy in your life to steal clothes from. For them it was probably a frat boy or boyfriend. For me, it’s the clothes my brothers left at home when they moved out and my dad’s shirt. All you need is a white button down (duh), white socks, sunglasses and a strong love of “That Old Time Rock and Roll”.

I gotta admit… this costume probably looks better with Brad Pitt next to you…but if you don’t have a spare, going solo is just fine! This outfit is based off of that scene in Mr. & Mrs. Smith when their house explodes and Angelina and Brad are standing there in the ruins looking like a big ol’ hot mess (emphasis on hot). All you need is a long button down shirt, red rain boots and the look of someone who’s house just exploded 10 feet away from them but you’re still gorgeous.

“Suddenly you’re afraid and you don’t know what you’re afraid of”.
How cute is this costume?! I love Breakfast at Tiffany’s and I feel like this particular look is so pivotal to the movie but never gets enough credit. I wish I woke up as beautiful as Audrey Hepburn every morning. And I’m so happy I own this mask now! I ordered it on Amazon and tried so hard to make a tassel earring but it was an epic fail. I fell like this costume is very chic and preppy, even if it looks like I’m not wearing pants.
