Day 10: 13 Posts of Halloween Costumes

Today’s 13 Posts of Halloween post is centered around a ‘little black dress’. All of these costumes can be created using any LBD, I just included a variety of black dresses I have. The bad news that comes with this post is that I had to switch up the location for taking these pictures because it’s been raining all weekend and my tripod broke! I feel like this post is a mess, but I still wanted to include these costumes because they’re really easy, especially if you have something last minute.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s

Shoutout to my friend Ashley who wore this same costume the other day and let me borrow her glasses and little tiara. Fun fact: Ashley wore a pearl ring over the gloves and her finger got stuck! We had to cut the gloves but you can’t really notice in these pictures.

I recommend putting your hair in a flat bun but leave your bangs in front. You’ll also need a little tiara, cat eye sunglasses, black gloves and some version of pearls. Super easy, super classy.

Vampire

I originally had bought fake blood for this costume but I lost it right when I was about to take the picture! Just my luck. Thankfully, this liquid NARS lip color worked perfect for the dripping blood and teeth marks.

I’m normally really bad at drawing eyeliner wings but this turned out pretty well! You can literally wear any kind of black dress with this outfit, I just love black sheer.

Housewife

This was a last minute costume I came up with last year. All you need is a black dress, apron and some sort of cooking utensil/cleaning object. Could you call it a desperate housewife? That’s for you to decide.

I put my hair in a low pony and wore red lipstick. If you’re going out I wouldn’t recommend bringing a spatula but you can basically put anything in the apron. My mom got me this apron from Kate Spade a few years ago.
