A few weeks ago I was lucky to travel halfway across the world to China to visit my best friend Taylor. Bragging moment: Taylor has been studying Chinese and East Asian studies or the past 10 years, so she’s pretty much fluent and took such good care of me! (She also knows 5 other languages… but who’s counting?) What a different world it is over there! We stayed in Shanghai and Nanjing and those two cities are so different from each other. The food was amazing, the architecture was nothing like I’d seen before and I was so happy to get to hang out with Taylor for a week because I haven’t seen her in 6 months. I’m calling this my first trip to China because now I have a 10 year visa, so I’m looking forward to going back one day! Here are a bunch of pictures I took and the places we went!
Day 1: Shanghai
