Not to sound too pessimistic, but I usually wear black on Valentine’s Day. It could be because in the past, my bitter heart wanted the world to know that I was alone and bitter…but now I just think black is the most flattering on my body. Plus, I get to match a bright red lipstick and colorful balloons with it without worry of clashing. I’m also pretty sure I’ll be wearing this to the Galentine’s party one of my best friend’s is throwing the weekend after Valentine’s Day! Super excited for that and super excited to give you some Valentine’s or Galentine’s outfit inspiration (especially if you’re doing #NoFunFeb and need to pull something together in your closet.) Details below!
If you’re struggling to find an outfit for Valentine’s/Galentine’s Day, I recommend trying out some all black combos and playing with little pops of color. I’m wearing my Dragon Girl lip pencil from NARS and I think that is the perfect amount of color for this outfit. (Also goes well with the balloons I got from Party City) But if you think that the whole black thing is a little too morbid for your taste on this holiday, I recommend swapping out some black for white or adding more accessories or make-up with more color.
I linked similar pieces to what I’m wearing below!
