I have to admit that it’s kind of daunting to me that I will be wearing business casual for the rest of my life. That may seem morbid, but it’s true! Odds are, whatever job I have at any point of my life, I’ll be required to wear some level of business casual/business professional. That being said, I have been trying really hard lately to have my personal style shine through in my professional workwear. I can be really lazy when it comes to getting dressed for work (I don’t even wear make-up to work anymore) but I have been getting a few requests for some easy (and cheap) business casual outfits. So here is one of my favorite go-to outfits!
I bought this blazer last year at Nordstrom after I won a giftcard on Instagram! It was a celebratory purchase for landing a full-time job after college. Unfortunately, it is sold out but here is a similar blazer. The scallop tank is from J.Crew Factory and is back in stock! The pants are from Old Navy (they have the best work pants I swear!) and the flats I actually found while thrifting. This is my work bag that I got two years ago for Christmas and is one of my absolute favorite things. It’s big and surprisingly durable. Similar pieces to what I’m wearing are below!
