IT’S DECEMBER! IT’S CHRISTMAS TIME. I mean when this biweekly need-to-know focuses more on the end of November, but I just want you to know how happy I am that it’s now Christmas time. But here’s my two-week recap and everything I think you need to know.
- Watching- The Crown: I started rewatching and I have been reminded how much I love this show!
- Viewing- I saw Jojo Rabbit with my twin and it was amazing! I cried and laughed and also felt really bad for laughing.
- Listening- My Favorite Murder: Episode 199 is really good! This may sound weird but it’s definitely become my comfort podcast.
- Jamming- “Christmas Tree Farm”: TAYLOR SWIFT WROTE A CHRISTMAS SONG A WEEK AGO IN THE YEAR 2019 AND IS PUTTING IT OUT AT MIDNIGHT!
- Reading- I am making progress through “The Night Circus” which is a big deal for me! I never make time to read, but this book is really good so far and I’ve been trying.

Good News: I got to do so many fun things in the last few weeks! I celebrated Kalen‘s birthday in DC, we went to brunch after and I got to see Taylor. Kayla and I also volunteered at a 10K and I FINALLY got my turkey hat that I was supposed to get last year but didn’t. Julia also honest a holiday party which was absolutely lovely.
Bad News: So I had a concussion last week. I basically got barreled in the back of the head with a football at Johnny’s flag football game and felt super nauseous and dizzy for the rest of that weekend. All week my head hurt so I couldn’t work out. I considered it to be a pretty minor concussion since I didn’t go to the ER, but ugh it was a pain. Then the next week, I really hurt my knee so I couldn’t workout then either! I really need to get back in the fitness game.
A Thanksgiving Recap:
So we’re that family that runs 5Ks the morning of Thanksgiving. It was fun getting to hang out with Chris and Allison, and Johnny and Pepper came to cheer us on. I basically died at the very end, but I’m glad I did it! After, I made the boys do a #Kimberkopy with me. They were really good sports! For dinner it was pretty small but it was my parents, brothers, my Oma, my great aunt, Tante Helga, and Johnny’s boyfriends, Michael and Seth. It was a great time and I loved getting to spend some quality time with everyone. I really miss my brothers now that they moved out 🙁
My Love for the JoBros Lives on:
I’ve been waiting for this concert since I was 12! The Jonas Brothers concert was super fun and I went with Julia, Jess and Alison. Poor Amanda was sick with a stomach bug 🙁 but one of my best friends from high school, Emily, was able to join us. (She was in town from KY, how fun is that!) We’re gonna make it up to Amanda in some way, and I’m excited for that too. But bottom line, I still really really, really love the Jonas Brothers.
Current Shopping Picks:
Coming Up: KAYLA IS GETTING MARRIED THIS WEEKEND. I can’t believe it. I really need to type up and print out my MOH speech. Omg I can’t believe this is happening this weekend. I’m crying just thinking about it. Okay I need to end this blog post now before I completely burst into tears.
