So this may sound weird, but I am obsessed with textured clothing. Wait…that’s not weird. Oh. Saying “I like wearing clothes with material that encourages people to feel me” is weird. But honestly, who doesn’t?! I rented this gorgeous midi dress above from Rent the Runway and I am so in love with it. From the lace detail, the sheer sleeves, midi skirt length and super detailed embroidery, this dress is a dream. It’s everything I have ever wanted in a dress and I linked it and similar dresses below.
I took these pictures on my tripod in my backyard (like I normally do). Thank God for self timer. It was really fun to toss around and twirl in. I felt like a vintage princess.
And now for a few detail shots that I made my dad take so you could see closer to the embroidery and lace. (He really had no idea what he was doing, but A for effort).
If you’re wondering if I got a tattoo… they’re fake! I’m just experimenting with placement.
This dress would be perfect for a wedding, fancy dinner or date night (it’s too bad I don’t have any of those to go to). I paired this dress with these vibrant red heel because they compliment the bright crimson designs on the dress. I wouldn’t over accessories with this dress since it’s already pretty busy. But I did pin my bangs to the side, which is probably the main reason I’m getting Snow White vibes from these pictures (am I the only one?) Actually, I’m getting 1940s vibes from this outfit.
