Words cannot describe the sweet, sweet torture I feel about this dress. The love I have for this dress knows no bounds, but I totally hate the fact that it’s normally $700 (I also have no place to wear it to). I love everything about this dress from the lavender color and how it falls on me, to the material and how it falls on me. It is a rental, but this is honestly just one of those pieces of clothing that I can’t stop thinking about. And no, I’m not going to buy it because even at the discount rate, it’s still too expensive for me. And I need to reiterate that I still am not leaving my house for anything besides grocery shopping. But what I will do is make this blog post featuring several pictures of myself in this dress that I adore but couldn’t keep. True heartbreak.
Not only is this dress my favorite color, but it is also gives me major vintage/ 1940s vibes, which I’m also a huge fan of. I feel like I could be transported back in time with these photos and totally blend in. Thats why I also styled my hair in loose curls with a pearl hair clip. And these two-tone cap toe heels go with just about everything in my closet.
Here is the link for the dress on Rent the Runway. I have recently decided to pause my Rent the Runway membership and I’ll probably make a blog post about that a little later (if you know, you know). But I want to add that I took these photos a few weeks ago before a lot of new information about Rent the Runway came out. Again, I’ll explain more in a new blog post.
