Truth be told: there is a lot weighting on my heart right now. And I don’t have the words yet, but I’m getting there. Despite everything happening, I am working on much more articulate blogs for that and am in no way trying to downplay anything with this post. Among everything going on right now in this crazy world, here are 5 little things that brought me joy this week.
Sharp Objects
Oh my God…this show! I literally stayed up until 1am last night to finish it. Mind blowing! Amy Adams was robbed of an Emmy. I totally recommend watching this, but there are some pretty graphic scenes, so beware!
Vegan Crunch Wrap
Back in college, I’m pretty sure I ate a crunch wrap supreme every single weekend after a night out. Was that good for me? Absolutely not. Do I miss it? 100%! But I love making my favorite foods with a healthy spin. So I found this recipe to make a vegan crunch wrap supreme and it was amazing. So delicious! I used Daiya Nacho cheese, tofu and threw in some Elote chips from Trader Joe’s.
Gold Earrings
Don’t you love it when you find things in your house and you don’t have to buy those things? I made this post about gold jewelry the other day, and then my mom and I discovered a box of like 5 different kinds of gold hoops! How lucky am I? They are like my favorite thing to wear now.
Into the Water
This is my latest book club book and I’m actually getting super into it. I’m currently reading it on my phone through my local library on the Libby app. I have mixed feelings about reading books on my phone, but this so far, this book is intriguing and I am excited for my virtual book club in 2 weeks!
Did I Go Viral On TikTok?
So in honor of my 3 year jaw surgery I made a TikTok video of a short 30 second recap of my jaw surgery. It’s literally only 30 seconds, but this morning I checked and saw it has over 1 million views! That is way too many people looking at my face. I’ve also been getting a lot of comments on this video. Most of them are so so so nice, but there are a couple trolls on there. Like shut up Jeremy, don’t you have Algebra homework to do?
Hope you have a good weekend!
Thanks for reading! xx
