I love spooky szn. I love playing dress up. I love finding outrageous articles of clothing at the thrift store. And I especially love finding creative everyday ways to wear them. That is pretty much what this whole post is about. Here are 8 festive and fun Halloween outfits that I’m so excited to wear this month. Most of these items are from last season or were thrifted, but I linked similar in the post!
I know I look like a child with the pigtails and overalls… but I was really feeling it. I actually got this striped top from T.J. Maxx last year, but the overall dress is brand new from Target! I thrifted these leather sneakers over the summer. This look is great for the pumpkin patch or just an everyday, October look. It’s not too over the top, but still pretty festive.

I feel like a mom volunteering at the school Halloween party in this. But I also think it works. I would totally wear this outfit while I’m working from home. I found the shirt on Poshmark and yes, the pumpkins are made of sequins!!!! I have had these high-waisted skinny jeans for years and I just thrifted these Sam Edelman loafers. This scrunchie is from Jane Dottie Vintage who literally makes the best hair accessories! Go check them out!

This is what I call my Wednesday Addams dress, but my dad thought it was for RGB. I wore it last year for this post, but since all my other plain black tights ripped since last year, these orange and black striped tights were the only ones I had. With or without the tights, this dress gives off some subtle spooky vibes which is great for those more formal events that happen in October.

I was so excited when I found this sweater vest on Poshmark! I love the jewel detail and swinging spiders. So perfect for Halloween! I wore a sheer, glittery top underneath just because it was chilly when I took these photos. These burnt orange corduroy pants are my go-to this season, and I think the leather sneakers make this look super comfy and casual.

I wore this top to the Lizzo concert last year and got so many compliments on it. I included it in this post because I hardly get to wear it anymore and the sequins and sheer fabric give off some witchy vibes. I threw it over this jumpsuit with the sweetheart neckline and it looks so good together! Fun but also put together. A little sexy but also classy. If I had anywhere fancy and boujee to go out to this October, I would totally wear this.

THIS SWEATSHIRT HAS SHOULDER PADS AND IS SO SOFT! I found this gem of a sweatshirt on Poshmark and can’t wait to wear it all month long. It’s perfect for handing out candy (if that were actually a thing this year) so I guess it’s just my new favorite sweatshirt for lazy days. If you look closely, it says “trick or treat” over and over again. I am also wearing my Jane Dottie scrunchie in this picture too.

Okay I just couldn’t resist this vest. IT HAS CATS ON IT. I found it on Poshmark (because of course I did), as well as the Free People dress I’m wearing and these Charlotte Olympia cat flats! If you’re looking for vintage, 90s vests like this one, Poshmark is the place to go. Actually if you’re looking for anything I’m wearing in this post, try thrifting from Poshmark!

Do we dig the goth girl vibes? I got this sweater from Poshmark too and thought my new combat boots and straight black jeans would radiate a more bad ass vibe for October. The detail on the sweater is gorgeous and delicate. There is also really nice movement through the shirt. Spider webs are great for Halloween and an all black look is so classic.
