It has taken me so long to post this… but today is Kayla and Tommy’s 1 year anniversary so I can’t think of a better time to post this. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TOMMY AND KAYLA! Let’s all pretend its 2019 again and we can be in large crowds and share drinks and there is not a mask in sight. On December 7th, 2019 my best friend Kayla married the love of her life in Pasadena, MD and I was her maid of honor. You can check out this post to see her bridal shower and this post for her bachelorette party. This blog post is basically a photo dump of their wedding and it makes me smile so big. What I would do to go back to such a fun and happy day.
All photo creds go to Kemp Collective.
Getting Ready:
Lauren, Me, Kayla and Bethany. Kayla also had two Bridesmen- Mas and Pun
Bethany helping me with my sparkly belt that I got to wear because I was the MOH
“Kim you have one job this entire time…don’t forget it”
*cries in how beautiful Kayla is*
Show Time:
My parents looking at Kayla and Mr. Blasher walking down the aisle
*cries in how Tommy looks at Kayla*
Pun, Bethany, Lauren, Kayla, me, and Mas
#squad
When I successfully bustled Kayla’s dress
*cringes in pandemic panic * friendly reminder this wedding happened last year
Taylor was my date but because I was busy most of the time, Kalen was basically her date
ARE THESE NOT THE MOST GORGEOUS PHOTOS YOU HAVE EVER SEEN IN YOUR LIFE???
Reception:
Jordan was the best man and we did the Ray Lewis pre-game dance when we walked in to the reception
Kayla and Tommy’s first dance song was “Tenerife Sea” and I cried (also because that song is rumored to be written by Taylor Swift and Kayla refused to play any Taylor at her wedding…I won)
Then I gave a super long MOH speech
my parents with my friends
For some reason I always have to dance with a small child at a wedding- this is Lilly, she’s Kayla’s niece and she’s super cool
Shelia’s selfie stick
lot’s of really sick dance moves on the dance floor if you couldn’t tell
Michael, me, Kayla and Tim- we all grew up in the same neighborhood
I think “All I Want For Christmas Is You” came on…so I’ll just send this blog post with this photo.

Obviously this blog post is a year late so rather than wishing them a big ‘congratulations on getting married’ I’m now wishing them a ‘happy 1 year anniversary’! I feel so blessed to have been able to be a part of their special day and so lucky get to see and hang out with them as often as I do. What a magical day and what an amazing couple. Love you both so much!
Thanks for reading! xx
