In my typical style of sharing cocktails I’ve tried myself and enjoyed, I wanted to give you a few options for NYE that include Prosecco or Champagne. I made these cocktails a few days ago with my friend Peyton and all of them are delicious. They are also so easy to make and perfect for bringing in the new year!
Hugo Spritz
What You Need:
- 1 Lime
- Mint Leaves
- 2 oz St. Germain
- Prosecco
- Ice
Directions: This recipe makes two drinks and is typically enjoyed in a wine glass. Put ice in both glasses and tear up the mint leaves and drop them in each glass. Add 1 oz of St. Germain and 2-3 lime slices to each glass. Fill to the top with Prosecco and give a slight stir. Enjoy!
Prosecco and Chamboard
What You Need:
- 0.5 oz Raspberry Liqueur
- Prosecco
- Raspberries
Directions: Pour raspberry liqueur into each flute/glass. Spoon in 3-4 raspberries. Top with Prosecco and enjoy.
French 75
What You Need:
- 1 lemon
- 1 oz Simple syrup
- 2 oz Gin
- Champagne
Directions: Fill a shaker with ice, 1 oz lemon juice, the simple syrup and gin. Shake. Pour into a glass and top with champagne. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Shoutout to this lovely gem for helping me with make these drinks and photograph them! The Hugo Spritz was actually Peyton’s idea and I’m so glad she introduced me to it. I’ll probably end up making all three of these cocktails for New Year’s Eve, especially since I love some bubbly.
Hope you have a wonderful and safe NYE. Thanks for reading! xx
