Photo Dump: A Week In Colorado

I love Colorado!! During Labor Day weekend, I made the trek out to Colorado to visit one of my best friends, Melissa, and her boyfriend, Jordan (and their cat Yonce). I spent a whole week there and had an absolute blast. Cassie (who lives in Baltimore too) and Kalen (who lives in her van and is constantly on the move) met us there as well for some hiking, drinking and the Jonas Brother’s concert. It was Melissa’s birthday too and we love to celebrate our girl. It was my first time in Denver and Boulder, and I had used the money that was originally for me and Melissa to fly out to LA for Loverfest (RIP) to get out there. Here is a cluttered and messy photo dump of an amazing week. That includes blurry pics from my iPhone 8, under exposed photos from some disposable cameras and some weirdly groovy shots from my HUJI cam. Hope you enjoy!

Day 1: Melissa’s Actual Birthday

we went to Aviano Coffee multiple times that week

We went and got our nails done the first day I was there (it was my first time getting tips)

I also went to Orange Theory while Melissa was at Core Power Yoga (and yes, I was feeling the altitude by this point).

We went to Postino for her birthday lunch

And then we went to Avanti F&B for drinks that night

I love my mom and dad

Fun fact: I brought this dress that I bought from thredUP to Colorado for Melissa to wear. Taylor Swift wore it to the 2006 ACMs and Melissa looks amazing in her own #Kimberkopy

Day 2: WFH + Happy Camper

The good thing about working remotely is that I didn’t have to take off the whole time I was out there. So here is a bad quality, disposables shot of me #workingfromhome #incolorado

We went to Happy Camper for pizza and drinks that night

eventually Kalen made it to Colorado after having her van break down in Montana a week before this

And then Cassie finally made her appearance after a delayed flight from BWI

Day 3: Hiking!

We went hiking in Boulder on my third day there (and thankfully the altitude didn’t really mess with me)

It has been years since I last went hiking and the views were unbelievable!!! We did the Gregory Canyon, Range View and Flagstaff Trail Loop.

I tripped because I am clumsy and didn’t have hiking shoes and I ripped my Lululemon leggings. I was bleeding and bruised my ankle and knee but I survived! Fun Fact: you can take your leggings to Lululemon to mend if you tear them for free!

Day 6: Harry Styles Day

I actually extended my trip when I found out Harry Styles was coming to Denver for Love on Tour. Melissa and I worked from home that day and then got all jazzed up to go see Harold at the Ball Arena.
