My 26th Birthday Photoshoot

It’s my party, and I’ll cry if I want to…

Happy 26th birthday to me! I love staging birthday photoshoots, and this one is particularly special just because of WHERE I shot these photos. Look I know it’s hard to top last years birthday photoshoot but I had to try! This photoshoot portrays the many feelings I have about turning *barf* 26. You can read this blog post to review how I feel about my 25th year. I took these photos in my very own apartment (!!!!!!) which I did not think I would do for 26th birthday. But here we are! I love things that sparkle and shine and I love using my DSLR with my tripod, flash and my self-timer. Hope you enjoy these photos!

Thinking about the fact that I have to pay for my own health insurance now.

I’m wearing the Gionia Dress by Ronny Kobo, which is a rental from Nuuly. My headband, choker, bracelet and earrings are from Amazon. I also ordered most of these decorations from Amazon. (Not proud of it because I try not to shop at Amazon too much but nobody is perfect). I used a lot of random objects I already had in my apartment to stage my little birthday scene (like my grey plate, coup glass, disco ball and chalkboard). I like making my birthday photoshoots look like a glitz and glamour-y party where everyone is dressed to the nines and flash photography is encouraged. OH! I also got these cupcakes from Cup Love here in Baltimore!
