My apartment is really coming together! I am so thrilled with how spooky and festive everything looks for Halloween. The best part is that I didn’t have to buy anything! My mom gave me a bag of decorations she did not want which is what makes up the majority of what you see in these photos. I also thrifted a bunch of these things and even crafted a little bit. I don’t have much to link to, but I hope you at least get some inspiration to decorate your own space with these photos.
My bar cart that I bought on Facebook Marketplace is looking great! I need a few more classic staples before it’s ‘complete’. Next we have this armoire thing that was originally in my grandparents’s garage, and then my parents’s garage. I was planning on fixing it up but I think the dirt and stains make it look more vintage. And then finally we have my throne! That is another family artifact that was just sitting in my parents’s house collecting dust. I think she really completes the space.
I’m very proud of myself for crafting these bats myself! I had some left over poster board from my birthday party and spent an evening free-hand cutting all of these up. I found this candelabra ay my local thrift store (it’s made of plastic) and I bought the black candles off Amazon.
I thrifted the mirror candle stick things and got the large gold frame from an antique shop. My mom gave me this little side talk to put next to my bedroom door. Right now its storing all of my candles and a few fall trinkets that my mom and Oma did not want. Also note the ceramic dog on the floor. My lease does not allow me to have any pets, but I found this and decided to take her home. Her name is Molly.
New windowsill set up since I moved my aloe plant. I thought it was getting too much light. From left to right we have: a baby cactus in a pot that Jesse gave me for my birthday from B.Willow, a Taylor Swift candle, a fake pumpkin my mom gave me, some matches and this super cool skull candle I got off of Etsy.
Fun fact: Allison and I found this table on my street when I first moved in. On this FREE table we have some artwork from my friend BrandyDurstCreative. I got this phone from Facebook Marketplace. The lamp game with the apartment. I bought this pumpkin in college for my senior year house, which is why I have a picture of me and my senior year roommates. My friends Amanda and Alison also just got me these adorable trinkets (the piano and phone) which I LOVE!
I almost always have a candle burning over here when I’m home. I bought this white and gold pumpkin in college. Autumn gave me this beautiful F. Scott Fitzgerald book for my birthday. Here is another piece of artwork from my friend Brandy. I thrifted both the gold frame and the candlestick holder.
If you look in this cute little corner, I have my framed and signed Taylor Swift albums hanging. I need to add Fearless (Taylor’s Version) to the wall! I also got this lovely pink lampshade while I was thrifting with my mom.
Here’s a close up of what’s under my TV. On the far right, Peyton made me this macrame candle holder for my birthday! And I thrifted the white pumpkin with studs because that is hella hardcore.
Here is a link for the skull candle.
I also thrifted the little cauldron on my coffee table for Halloween. Here is a link for pillows on my couch and the couch covers (which make all the difference).
Thanks for reading! xx
