Thanksgiving is only a few days away, so I wanted to provide a bit of “Thanksgiving Outfit Inspo” for you, based on outfits I’ve worn in the last year or so. Here are some past outfits of mine that I think would be appropriate and comfortable for Thanksgiving. It’s a little late to go shopping, but I did link where you can find similar pieces to what I’m wearing below.
So perhaps a skirt and black turtleneck combo would be considering ‘basic’ or ‘cheugy’ but it’s literally the easiest way to look dressed up without even trying. I love the look of a long tan coat over a skirt. If I could go back in time, I would complete this outfit with black tights!
Doesn’t this shirt looks like it’s straight from the Mayflower? It’s surprisingly very comfortable and could also pair well with leggings or stretchy pants. Heels are optional, obviously.
You just can’t go wrong with the color ‘burnt orange’ on Thanksgiving. I’m wearing this long sweater with Abercrombie jeans and combat boots, but this sweater would also go great with sweatpants or yoga pants if your Thanksgiving is casual.
An all black look for Thanksgiving is iconic! Pair it with a pattern coat to wow the hosts and guests when you first get there, and you’re set!
This is definitely the more formal of the bunch, but this color scheme is just took good not to share! I am all for comfort over fashion on Thanksgiving, but if your family requires you to dress more ‘formal’, I say go for a satin slip dress and plaid blazer.
Velvet can make any article of clothing look like you tried harder than you did! This velvet shirt dress was so comfortable and would be great for Thanksgiving!
Here we have a very classic color scheme for Thanksgiving. Orange and red are so great for November because they literally combine the biggest colors for October and December. Add some brown booties and you’re good to go!
If your Thanksgiving is hella small or hella casual, go for a matching set! It’s the most comfortable you’ll get to be, but also very coordinated and organized.
