June-August = summer reading months! There are so many great books I can’t wait to read this summer. I’m both parts stressing out how many books I want to read and super excited! I’ve gotten so many recommendations from Tiktok and Goodreads. (If we’re not already friends on Goodreads, we totally should be!) I will be very surprised if I make it through this list but I am definitely willing to try. I will be at the beach and on an airplane for most of this summer so I hope that will give me ample time!
Book Lovers: I LOVED “People We Meet On Vacation” and was a big fan of “Beach Read” so I cannot wait to see what Emily Henry’s next book is about!
The Golden Couple: I really liked “The Wife Between Us” by the same author! I have not read any mystery or thriller books in months so it will be nice to read something different this summer.
Funny You Should Ask: I’ve heard great things about this one! I’ve elected to not even read the description and just go in blind. I usually do this with romance books.
One Italian Summer: I am waiting for this book to be available at the library! This book handles grief and growing up and takes place in a beautiful setting. It’s giving some Mamma Mia vibes too! I just read “The Dinner List” by Rebecca Serie and loved it! Will most likely cry at the end of this book.
The Unsinkable Greta James: I am also waiting for this one on Libby. Seems a little like “Daisy Jones” but on a boat so I’m curious to see what this one is all about.
The Summer I Turned Pretty: Okay so yeah…I am including this book on here because of the new Netflix series. It’s YA and I have not read the series but once Taylor Swift started giving her songs to the show, I was intrigued and added this one to the list.
Reckless Girls: I really enjoyed “The Wife Upstairs” so I am excited for this one! Judging by the book description, its a suspense novel that takes
Carrie Soto is Back: You know if Taylor Jenkins Reid writes it, I will be reading it. We already met Carrie Soto in Malibu Rising so I look forward to hearing her story!
It Starts With Us: The sequel to It Ends With Us! I read that book in 2020 and it was an ~experience~. I am not a huge Colleen Hoover fan but you can bet I will 1000% be reading this one. *I know this one isn’t released until October, but I still wanted to include it on this list!
My Killer Vacation: I love anything Tessa Bailey puts out so I will definitely be reading this one this summer.
Good Girl Complex: I haven’t read anything by Elle Kennedy yet, but I have heard good things about her Off Campus series. I have been on the waitlist for this one for MONTHS on Libby.
Every Summer After: I have seen this book recommended over and over again. I love a multiple summer, childhood friends love story. I may actually buy this one because the wait on Libby is so long.
What is on your summer reading list? Let me know in the comments!
Thanks for reading! xx
