While I am a firm believer that fall starts on September 25 (right after the best day of the year) I am so excited to start shopping for fall fashion! I fight about it with my best friend all the time, especially since in Maryland it is going to be 95 degrees until mid-October. But I have been thinking a lot about what I want my style to look like this fall and I can’t stop thinking about these pieces. You’ll notice I have a bunch of shoes listed on here because all of my favorite pairs of shoes decided to completely flunk out on me in the past 3 months. So it’s time to amp up the closet!
I am big on platform shoes this season (not that my 5’9 ass needs to be). These tan boots are so perfect for fall, but I love these black boots even more! My friend Melissa is letting me borrow hers for a few weeks and I LOVE THEM. I have always been a loafer person, but these platform loafers are so classic! I like the extra height! I also love these platform high top Converse sneakers, but I don’t know if I like black or white best. I’m leaning towards black because I also have my eye on these white sneakers. I am so in love with these boots but I totally can’t afford them right now.
This basic black skirt seems like such a staple piece to me. This bandana puffer jacket is such a statement (but so is this Free People jacket)! I need a dark color pair of jeans and these Madewell jeans seem perfect. I would love a basic shirt dress to dress up and down. I love a tan quarter zip and I am actively looking to thrift a suede vest like this one. I am also in the market for some black overalls and want to jump on the band wagon and get a belt bag.
What’s in your shopping cart? Let me know in the comments.
Happy shopping! xx

Kimberly! I was catching up with your Mom and she mentioned your on-line presence , so I decided to catch up with you via your blog as well. I love the variety of content. Loved the pictures too and you look sensational! Your sense of style is on point with being fun, stylish and classy! It’s also incredible how you nailed those Taylor Swift looks too. Your writing is so heartfelt. This blog needs some exposure in one of those Style Magazines.
Keep doing all the fun things in life and when you least expect it a special lucky person will come your way. You are still the sweet and kind little girl I knew who has grown up to be hard working and sophisticated.
You take care!
Mrs. Sumitra. 🙂
