Aquamarine Halloween Costume

Who else loved this movie in the 2000s?! I think 11 year old Kim would think I’m so cool right now for this Aquamarine costume. And tbh… I was really digging these turquoise extensions. A few of my friends have gone ‘blue’ before and I’m tempted… but anyway, back to the costume! This nostalgic get-up is perfect for my y2k girlies who are doing something for Halloween in a particularly humid/hot climate. Which is exactly why I took these pictures while I was in Fort Lauderdale last weekend. Outfit details and how to pull off this look below!

I took these photos while on vacation with two of my best friends, Autumn and Cori! We were in Fort Lauderdale and Cori absolutely smashed it with these photos. I look like a mermaid-angel on the balcony of our Airbnb. She also helped me trim these extensions that I got off of Amazon. I thrifted this dress from Poshmark, but I linked similar dresses you can buy above! When I bought these earrings on Etsy, I wasn’t aware they would be real starfish, but I guess that adds to the costume! (??)
