Turkey hat not included.
I have to admit, I am feeling a little late for the Thanksgiving outfit content (especially if you were planning on buying any of this), but I hope this post can provide you with some inspiration regardless! I would wear any of these outfits to Thanksgiving dinner, but I am leaning towards one in particular. Hope this post gives you an idea for what you can wear on Turkey Day!
Outfit #1:
You can’t go wrong with a skirt and tights! I personally like pairing pattern tights with a plaid skirt, but you can really mix and match however you like. I included my platform loafers in this look, which really attributes to the ‘school-girl’ vibe. But an oversized sweater makes the look more casual and comfy.
Outfit #2:
These pants are truly the star of the show here. You can even see (if you look above the mirror) I got this outfit inspo from the Midnights photoshoot! I bought these pants from Gap in 2019, but I linked similar pairs below. Whether you call it ‘rust’ or ‘burnt orange’, these corduroy pants give off retro 70s vibes and are perfect for Thanksgiving!
Outfit #3:
This is probably what I am actually wearing for Thanksgiving! I finally caved and bought a Hill House dress in September. What I love most about this dress: the length, the pockets and the vegetable pattern. My mom will think I tried hard to dress up, when really I just threw on a dress. This exact dress is currently on sale and available in limited sizing!
Outfit #4:
This is probably my most modest outfit on this list, but that usually also means the warmest! I am a big polka dot girl, and while this skirt definitely gives off ‘summer’ vibes, a brown/orange sweater and booties can make it more appropriate for fall. I tucked this sweater into a sports bra and clipped my hair back because I tend to always find long pieces of blonde hair in my food if I don’t. I got these booties/flats back in 2019 and could not find anything similar with that same shape.
Outfit #5:
The comfiest outfit on the list and what I have been wearing nonstop for the past week. I thrifted this Tommy Hilfiger sweater from thredUP but I’ve seen. If your plan for Thursday is to kick back, watch some football and stuff your tummy ’til you wobble, leggings and an oversized sweater are the way to go.
What are you wearing for Thanksgiving? Let me know in the comments!
