I guess technically I named them my “champagne goals” but I like the idea that each one of these things is a “problem” that I get to cheers to this year. And yes, technically I got Prosecco to drink, but I am a big La Marca girlie. I was inspired to do this after watching a video on TikTok. I love drinking some bubbly and celebrating accomplishments, so I figured this would be a good way to ensure I actually work for my goals. I made this small list of 9 things I’d like to accomplish myself this year. I’d like to thank my best friend, Taylor, for coming to Baltimore and helping me with this little project.
What You Need:
- Small Bottles of Prosecco (or Champagne) for however many goals you want
- Tissue Paper (be eco-friendly and use newspaper if you have it)
- Card stock/Paper
- Sharpie
- Twine or Ribbon
- Tape
- A box to store your bottles
As you can see above, Taylor was hard at work wrapping up my La Marca bottles and tying my goal around the neck of the bottle. We also made a cheat sheet of what my goals are, so it’s easier for me to remember. I had just been to my parents house when my mom gave me this brown box to throw some “knick-knacks” in. Turns out, it fit all 9 bottles perfectly!
My Goals:
- Run a Half-Marathon
- Get a Raise
- Pay Off My Car
- Make A Big Hair Change
- Finish Writing My Book
- Find and Commit to a New Therapist
- Take a Trip with Mom
- Put $5K in Savings
- Don’t Buy Any Books For Myself This Year
Thanks to Tay for the help! If you like this idea, let me know in the comments!
