Can I just start this blog post by saying, that Autumn is truly the hostess with the mostest. Not only did she secure Eras Tour tickets for us, she and Seth were so wonderful to house me, Cori and Johnny this weekend. Plus, they have a pool now and Bodie is getting so big! I don’t get to see my favorite little fam as often as I would like, but when I do, it’s the best time. This was such a wonderful long weekend and I loved getting to hang out with Autumn’s family too. But most of all, I CANNOT BELIEVE WE GOT TO SEE THE ERAS TOUR!!!! And I get to do this all again in Nashville in May? Sounds fake. What a dream weekend this was. I didn’t take a TON of pictures (I was living in the moment), but here are some random photos and a short recap.
Pulling up to BWI in my cowgirl boots. Ready for Texas.
Shoutout to Seth for always coming to get me from the airport and stopping at In N Out on the way home. It’s the only time I ever get the chance to have In N Out.
For the first two days I was there, this was the only photo I had taken.
Enjoying Autumn + Seth’s new pool and my favorite beverage in the world.
After a couple days of working from home, Cori and Johnny arrived!
enjoying some beautiful Texas weather and some home grilling by Seth
hugs for Auntie Coco!
Johnny and his new bestie, Tito.
Out for drinks at The Star in Frisco.
Got to see Ford Center where the Cowboys practice.
Always love a good mirror selfie.
The most beautiful sunset at Frisco Rail Yard.
The Power Puff Girls
NOW ITS TIME FOR THE CONCERT
I cannot thank Autumn enough for getting us tickets for Arlington N2. We drove through a torrential downpour to get there, but of course, nothing could stop us. We went with Autumn’s sister, Holly, her sister-in-law Carly, her cousin, Lucy and her little brother’s gf, Sarah. Getting into the stadium was a little chaotic but we all hung out, ate some food and then went to our seats right before Taylor started.
This is one of my favorite thrift finds EVER! I found it on thredUP in 2020 and have been waiting for the chance to wear it to a Taylor show.
Taylor wore this BCBGMaxAzria dress to her first red carpet, the 2006 ACMs.
I just want to say that I appreciate Autumn and Cori so much for not spoiling the show for me and letting me experience so many surprises in real time. I CANNOT BELIEVE SHE PLAYED TIS THE DAMN SEASON! I really did not expect that at all.
I let Johnny borrow my debut Taylor t-shirt.
All seated and ready to go!
All I can say is, thank GOD Taylor paid to show the big screen in the stadium. We were in the nosebleeds but getting to see the entire stadium was so cool.
I was crying during the Lover set because I just kept thinking about how during COVID, I didn’t know when/if this exact moment would ever happen. It was so surreal.
I am obsessed with all of her outfits
The Lover era always makes me think of 2019 and the summer Autumn and Seth got married, so this set was so special.
Best concert of my life.
Fearless was the song that made me a Swifite.
I absolutely lost my mind during the reputation set. DON’T BLAME ME FOR WHAT YOU MADE ME DO!!!!!
The dress I wore was featured on the screen during LWYMMD!
Our surprise songs were “Jump Than Fall” and “The Lucky One”.
I took a ton more photos but I have to admit, the quality is not the best. But you get the point!
POST CONCERT
I stayed for a couple more days after the show. We had a whole pool day with Autumn’s family the day after, but I hardly took any photos. But I love ending the days with wine, a fire and some chit chat with Autumn and Seth.
And then of course, I had to fly home to BWI (little brother in tow).
I cannot believe I get to see this show again!!! It was absolutely incredible, surreal, breath-taking. Taylor performed so many songs and puts on such a performance! I cannot wait for Nashville.
Thank you again to Autumn + Seth for everything! Miss you guys already.
Thanks for reading! xx
