I know it’s literally only a few days before February starts, but there is still time to plan and get ready for No Fun Feb! Here are a few tips I have to help you start the month off right.

The time has come again! This is my second year of doing No Fun February and honestly I need it bad. I am just now finishing up all the holiday candy in my house and my poor wallet needs a break. Here is my original post for “No Fun February” but I refuse to make posts like this without acknowledging that this name for this came from when my friend, Jesse, did “No Fun November” a few years ago. I’ve made a few changes to last years NFF rules and guidelines which you can find below. But this blog post is also about why you should even give up your indulges anyway and participate in No Fun February.
And if you’ve caught on to how early I’m posting about NFF, that’s because I’m traveling for most of January and wanted to plant the idea in your head so you can decide if you want to do NFF with me!

Happy hump day! To help you get through the week, I thought I would share this gift guide for “the fit girl” in your life. I have to admit that a lot of this may be things that a girl who works out a lot already has, but I also think these are good gifts for the girl trying to be super fit in the new year. Hey, we all start somewhere!
My Experience With OrangeTheory Fitness
So for the past 8 weeks I have been working out at Orange Theory. I originally started because I wanted a work out class to give me a little push before my trip to Jamaica. I ended up signing up for one month, and then another month and now I’m hooked. My friend Emily originally told me about it and I am so glad she did. I seriously love these classes. I used to not push myself at the gym and get bored of my normal work outs, but Orange Theory keeps things fun, different and you always walk away feeling accomplished. I’ll try my best to explain the class and why I like it so much.
Lazy Day Beauty Products
Having just graduated from college, I’m not ashamed to admit I’ve had my fair share of rough mornings that involve chugging a bottle of water, eating Saltines, scraping last nights make-up off my face and trying to untangle the birds nest on top of my head. Hey, we’ve all be there. But during all of those times of hitting a low point, I’ve discovered a few handy-dandy products that make me look a lot better than I actually feel when I have stuff to do. So if you’re like me and you’re just trying to make it to Denny’s the morning after a night out, the library to study for a big test or just back to your bed without looking like a total mess, try out these products.

12 Beauty Products I Love
So honestly this post is a little old. I made this photo collage like 8 months ago. Since then I’ve tried a few new products or found cheaper alternatives. But I don’t really have time to make a new collage so we’ll stick with this one. I’m not a huge make-up expert, but thanks to the help of some friends who actually know what they’re doing and have been kind enough to show me some tips (shoutout to the meatballs) I have a basic make-up routine. I usually go to Ulta for these products because that was the only make-up store in Salisbury, but also because they have great deals (get the Ulta Rewards card!) Below I have linked a bunch of my favorite beauty products, where to get them and the basics as to how I put them on.

My First Half Marathon (How I Trained & Prepared)
No Fun February in Review:
Even though this month was only 28 days, I feel like it was the longest month ever. As today is March 1st, I wanted to share how my month of “no fun” went. The truth is, I didn’t stick to my rules as much as I thought I would have, but that doesn’t mean this challenge was a total waste.

Hi everyone! I haven’t posted in a super long time because I was studying abroad in Scotland and Ireland. Currently I’m really sick and that has also delayed my posting of anything. And when I say sick I mean like actually skipped all my classes and work today sick. I’m praying its not the flu because I have a big weekend ahead of me.
I can’t wait to share all of my Scotland and Ireland pictures! I took over 1700 so I’m no where near done editing. My trip was ah-maz-ing. However, I went a little crazy with the drinking, junk food and spending money while abroad. Not that this is a bad thing! I am a firm believer that while you’re abroad you should fully immerse yourself in the culture, even if it hurts your wallet. Trust me…my wallet is hurting. So I devised this concept of “No Fun February” after one of my good friends did “No Fun November” a few years ago. His concept was a little different than mine, but the basic principles stand. I’m not sure if this concept already exists, but this is my personal plan.
