Merry Christmas everyone! It is legit Christmas morning as I’m finishing up this blog post before I head downstairs to eat breakfast with the fam and open some presents. Q: How many times is it acceptable to watch “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” this holiday season? A: The limit does not exist. The Jim Carrey version of the Grinch is my absolute favorite movie! Oh look, another Christmas-y look that features plaid. Who would have thought?! I’m really liked dressing for the holidays the past few weeks, especially since I’ve been so busy with work. Even if my headspace can’t be focused on Christmas at the moment, at least my outfit is. This adorable J.Crew skirt caught my eye very early on this season. I love a good plaid skirt in the fall/winter and this one in particular has some lace on it too! I took these photos in the rain over the weekend in front of one of my favorite local stories, Sweet Elizabeth Jane. I’m so plaid I have these pants for the holidays! Okay, I know I make that pun a lot but it’s so effortless and it turns out I own a lot of plaid. I probably could have participated in Kelly‘s #60DaysofPlaid on Instagram if I really tried. One kind of plaid I’ve been loving in particular lately is red tartan.
