Sometimes I feel like I lose viewers attention when I post too many pictures in a blog post. So while my travel guide for my Charleston trip can be found here, this is a quick blog post of what I wore to Rainbow Row and where you can find similar dresses! Links below!

Oh what a night! From what I remember of it… I had an amazing birthday thanks to the wonderful friends and family in my life. My friends Alison and Allison (yes they have the same name and they live together) allowed me to have this little golden themed pregame at their house in Baltimore and it was so fun! Both of my brothers were able to make it and I loved getting to see so many of my best friends in one place. Here are some snapshots of the night!

I guess all my lists need to be 24 things long now? Should I make that a thing. I know I said the other day that 24 things is wayyy to long but as I was making this wishlist of fall things I want to buy, I completely let me impulse control loose and just kept adding things. But of course, #noragrets. I have already bought one thing off of this list but well see later on if my wallet can handle all of these purchases. A bunch of these items are on sale and a few are what I consider ‘worth the splurge’ but no matter your budget, links are below!

This past weekend, my mom and I flew to Charleston for a girls trip! The main reason we booked this trip is because I found super cheap tickets for Kacey Musgraves at the Volvo Car Stadium and my mom has always wanted to see her live. Her favorite song right now is ‘Rainbow’ and she loves to listen to it on our deck after work. So we planned this girl’s getaway and it was such a blast. I’ll post more about our trip in another post but for now here is the outfit I wore and some pictures from the show.
Overpass Photoshoot
If I’m being totally honest, the only reason I’m posting all of these pictures in a blog is to be able to link them properly to Pinterest and hopefully provide some photo inspiration for anyone who wants to do a shoot like this. I found the idea for these pictures on Pinterest and made my friend Meera locate this overpass with me during golden hour (it was pedestrians’ only overpass so we didn’t have to worry about cars). I just got this top from Princess Polly and I love it because of the one shoulder look. Being totally transparent, I’m feeling very out of shape this week. But I figure that is because I have been a little sick so I’m trying not to feel too down about myself/my body right now because these pics ended up being BOMB and I am very happy with how they turned out. So here are more pics! Make sure to comment below if you like them!

Honestly when am I not at Big Cork? Going to this little winery has become the norm for me and I’m happy it’s not too far away. These pictures are actually a little overdue since Ashley and I went to this End of Summer Bash back in August. But I didn’t want to forget about this post! I love being able to have a girls wine day/night whenever I can, even if it turns me into a wine-mom who says things like “of course size matters, you don’t want a small class of wine!”. TBH my name fits that stereotype. I have the kind of name that would want to speak to the manager when her expired coupon doesn’t work and gets wine drunk with the girls on a Tuesday while the kids are at soccer practice. Anyway, here are some pictures of me living out this persona:

This is what I call my “I’m so ready for fall, but I still need to dress for summer” outfit. Because it’s September and it’s chilly in the morning but burning hot by the afternoon, you have to be prepared for anything until it is officially sweater/spooky season. This outfit incorporates so many things i love like these Chanel sling-back knock-offs, this suede skirt that I’ve had for years and polka dots. I was in DC over the weekend with my friends Kalen and Melissa and their roommate Abby and we got brunch at Cava Mezze (soooo many small plates and mimosas for $35) and then passed for a 3 hour nap right after taking some pictures. There were also two women in a car next to where we were taking these who were just geeking over everything we were saying to each other to make each other laugh. I may or may not have sung “tip-toeing in my Jordans”… it’s fine, it’s over and anyway, here are more pics of my outfit.

If you know me, you know I always have to wear something on my left wrist. For years in high school I would wear 15+ bracelets all up my arm and over the years that number has slowly decreased to one single watch. But for a hot second there, all of my watches were broken! My wrist felt so naked! So to say that I was excited when JORD watches reached out to me and sent me his beautiful watch is an understatement. Scroll down to see how you can win some moola towards a watch like mine too!
Read More >>Leopard Midi Skirt
Can I be totally honest with you? I absolutely hated the way I looked in this skirt when I tried it on. The word I kept using was ‘bumpy’; I thought my stomach/hip area was too bumpy and I would have to return this, even though I love midi skirts and leopard print! But I still showed my mom this dress and I asked her what she thought and she said “Omg Kim those aren’t bumps, those are curves. Women have curves. If you want to call them bumps then fine but every woman has them.” And she’s so right! I get so caught up in how I think my body is supposed to look in clothes (shouldn’t this be an hourglass figure?) but there is no one way a woman is supposed to look. And bumps are so normal! So while I hope you get outfit inspiration from this post (especially since I think this skirt is perfect for the office and I’ll be wearing it so often this fall) I hope you read this long paragraph and pick up some wisdom and advice from me: embrace your bumps ladies! We’re all in this together and girl you look fabulous.
