Okay… we need to address the elephant in the room. Back in August I finally bought a Hill House Nap Dress. I know, I know! I kept saying I was not going to buy one because spending over $100 on a day dress seems outrageous to me. For months, I followed this brand on social media and saw a bunch of my friends on IG rave about these dresses. So I waited for a sale and finally caved. So here are some Kim Thoughts about this dress that every preppy, girlie, cottage-core dress owns.

Alexa, play “Bejeweled” by Taylor Swift.
What can I say? I like things that sparkle and a diamonds gotta shine. I wanted to take some time to share some of my favorite sparkly pieces I have found (so far) while hunting through the internet. I know it’s not technically holiday season yet, but I want you to be prepared! Here is my Holiday Trend Guide for Rhinestones.

Happy Halloween friends! I have saved what I deem as “the best for last” with my final costume for the month. Truth be told, I hardly own any pink (which is why I rented most of this costume) but there is just something about diving headfirst into the pink + feminine vibes on Halloween. After all, Halloween is about getting to put on an outrageous costume and man, do I love to play dress up. I did this other signature Holly Golightly look in 2020 (when I had brown hair) but I have been dying to do this look since I rewatched Breakfast At Tiffany’s. Here is how you can pull together this costume too, and more photos in my chic little apartment. It was truly the perfect setting – all I need is a cat!

“Starfish are huge suck ups. But they never lie!”
Who else loved this movie in the 2000s?! I think 11 year old Kim would think I’m so cool right now for this Aquamarine costume. And tbh… I was really digging these turquoise extensions. A few of my friends have gone ‘blue’ before and I’m tempted… but anyway, back to the costume! This nostalgic get-up is perfect for my y2k girlies who are doing something for Halloween in a particularly humid/hot climate. Which is exactly why I took these pictures while I was in Fort Lauderdale last weekend. Outfit details and how to pull off this look below!

If you’re like me, you can never decide on just one Halloween costume. Hopefully you’re not and you can just pick one thing and call it a day. Usually around August I start to think about my costumes. These 6 costumes are what I have been obsessing over. I would seriously wear any one of these this year (in fact, I probably will) and I wanted to share how you can pull them off too!

“There were three of us in this marriage.”
Let’s hear it for the revenge dress! If you don’t know the origin of Princess Diana wearing this dress, you can read more about it here. I really love Princess Diana (check out my other Kimberkopy I did for her here) and have wanted to do this recreation since my mom found this dress in her closet. That’s right, this gorgeous dress is my mom’s! She bought it in the 90’s for a black-tie event she had to go to with my dad. I included a picture of her in it below. And if you’re hoping to recreate this look for your own revenge scheme or for Halloween, I linked some similar items to what I’m wearing below too.

While I am a firm believer that fall starts on September 25 (right after the best day of the year) I am so excited to start shopping for fall fashion! I fight about it with my best friend all the time, especially since in Maryland it is going to be 95 degrees until mid-October. But I have been thinking a lot about what I want my style to look like this fall and I can’t stop thinking about these pieces. You’ll notice I have a bunch of shoes listed on here because all of my favorite pairs of shoes decided to completely flunk out on me in the past 3 months. So it’s time to amp up the closet!

It’s hard to believe we’ve been in the RED (Taylor’s Version) era for almost 10 months. You would think I would have been way more proactive about posting these KimberKopy’s, but here I am (and still eagerly waiting to see what album she’s going to drop next). I am classifying these outfits as part of Taylor’s ~summer~ style for the RED era (because her fall/winter looks are equally as iconic and deserve their own time to shine). When I tell you that this era of Taylor Swift outfits changed my personal style forever, I mean it. To this day, I still take cues from these outfits. I am so proud I actually found a few #TSSexact pieces as well! So please enjoy this analysis of Taylor’s RED era style and a few recreations that were super fun to do.

I am traveling to Texas to see my favorite baby and his wonderful parents this weekend. It happens to be 4th of July weekend, but what is there to be patriotic about when my country has taken away my bodily autonomy? I haven’t celebrated the 4th of July in over four years. But I’m so excited to go back to Texas. Here is a list of what I’m packing. I hope by making this list that I won’t overpack… but if you’ve ever met me, you know I always overpack.

I hope these photos are giving “Disney Princess” because I certainly feel like one. How lovely is this Linen Dress from Sleeper? I’ve wanted something from this brand for so long and I am so happy with this dress. (I still really want the feather pajamas but I guess I can wait on those for a bit). From the bubble sleeves, off the shoulder fit and beautiful pale yellow color, I am obsessed. I also want to mention that its especially important to support this brand since they are based in Ukraine. Here is a link on how you can help those in Ukraine from their website.
