I am trying to start a new series here on the blog that revolves around “what I want to wear” and “what I would wear” to certain events this summer. I do in fact have a jam packed summer and I am so excited for all of the fun things I have planned. The reason I am making this post is because I am going to see The Chicks in August at Red Rocks!!!! White before Memorial Day? Unheard of!

It’s a good thing Memorial Day is this weekend. There are a ton of sales going on! I am going to spend my weekend breaking my no-spend month and actually purchase the items I’ve had my eye on all month. Turns out most of them are white (which I really should pull back on because I’m going to my friend’s bachelorette weekend in July and I should not wear any white), but that is the theme of this post. Ever go on a photo adventure with your best friend to a beautiful azalea garden but forget to post the pics because you’re busy moving out from your parents’ house and into your very first apartment? Just me? Well alright then.

But really, in all seriousness, I took these photos with Kayla during this time last year and it was so fun! Look how cute and blonde my hair was! I remember life this time last year was super stressful, but Kayla and I went to this beautiful garden in Howard County and she took these photos of me. So truth be told, I am trying not to buy anything new until I clean out my closet. It’s part of my new years resolution to get rid of 52 items I no longer wear or that no longer fit. I have started the process but I have a long way to go. These are a lot of random items but boy are they pretty (or at least useful).

Maybe it is because I walk way more these days since I live in a city, but I have been obsessing over comfortable and trendy footwear. Never underestimate a good pair of sneakers. I just got new running shows that I am in love with, but I’m still thinking about buying more sneakers. This pair that I got for my China trip 3 years ago and I usually wear is falling apart. So it’s time for an upgrade!
