I am trying to start a new series here on the blog that revolves around “what I want to wear” and “what I would wear” to certain events this summer. I do in fact have a jam packed summer and I am so excited for all of the fun things I have planned. The reason I am making this post is because I am going to see The Chicks in August at Red Rocks!!!! I don’t know for certain what I’m wearing but I know it has to be great because I am going with Melissa, Abby and Kalen. Here are a few ideas I have!

White before Memorial Day? Unheard of!
It’s a good thing Memorial Day is this weekend. There are a ton of sales going on! I am going to spend my weekend breaking my no-spend month and actually purchase the items I’ve had my eye on all month. Turns out most of them are white (which I really should pull back on because I’m going to my friend’s bachelorette weekend in July and I should not wear any white), but that is the theme of this post. Enjoy!

Hello and welcome to another edition of ‘what’s in my shopping cart’! I am still resisting the urge to online shop due to my “no spend month” challenge (apparently, that does not involve thrifting and antiquing) but I have been making mental notes of things I would like to buy when June hits! Let’s hope these are still in stock and are on sale!

Ever go on a photo adventure with your best friend to a beautiful azalea garden but forget to post the pics because you’re busy moving out from your parents’ house and into your very first apartment? Just me? Well alright then.
But really, in all seriousness, I took these photos with Kayla during this time last year and it was so fun! Look how cute and blonde my hair was! I remember life this time last year was super stressful, but Kayla and I went to this beautiful garden in Howard County and she took these photos of me. And even though they are a year later, I’m sharing them now because its my blog and I can do what I want. Enjoy!

Don’t ask me why, but I have been obsessing over neutral, casual dresses I can wear in both spring and summer. And yes, blue does count as a neutral. If you couldn’t tell from the image above, midi dresses are all I can think about and if they are tiered… *chefs kiss*. I love a versatile dress that can be dressed up or down. Any of these dresses would look great with heels or sneakers, which makes them the perfect dresses for spring and summer.

The way that my shopping cart continues to grow every single day. I am cruising to do some MAJOR shopping for spring but I am trying to hold off because I keep having so many fun life experiences that take priority for my wallet. But that doesn’t mean I can’t make a giant wish list with affiliate links. This blog post is super messy and just has a ton of random thoughts about what I like about these clothes, but that is how my mind looks right now! Welcome to the madness!

So truth be told, I am trying not to buy anything new until I clean out my closet. It’s part of my new years resolution to get rid of 52 items I no longer wear or that no longer fit. I have started the process but I have a long way to go. These are a lot of random items but boy are they pretty (or at least useful).

Maybe it is because I walk way more these days since I live in a city, but I have been obsessing over comfortable and trendy footwear. Never underestimate a good pair of sneakers. I just got new running shows that I am in love with, but I’m still thinking about buying more sneakers. This pair that I got for my China trip 3 years ago and I usually wear is falling apart. So it’s time for an upgrade!

Merry Christmas! Shitter was full!
Story time! I love making holiday movie recreations for Christmas. For the last two years, I did two looks from Martha May Whovier from “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. The Grinch is definitely my favorite Christmas movie and I had every intention of doing another outfit recreation from that movie… until the outfit I ordered came in and didn’t fit. Such is life! But with only a few days left before Christmas, I thought to myself “hmmm… what movie could I do instead”? And as it turns out, I already everything I needed to do a Cousin Eddie recreation at my parent’s house. “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” happens to be my dad’s favorite Christmas movie and I didn’t have to buy a thing! Hope you enjoy this #Kimberkopy!
