I have been meaning to post pictures of my bedroom for so long! Since I’m really the only person who ever sees it, I have really been lacking with decorating when it comes to my bedroom. But recently, my parents helped me move my grandmother’s old vanity into my room, so I could have a place to do my make-up. And with that final addition, I am happy to save that my room is officially decorated. Huzzah! Everything is perfect. I took these photos during a random Saturday so you will probably notice I have a lot of knick-knacks and a lot of clutter. What can I say? I like stuff. So this is truly a very realistic photo selection of my personal space, as I actively live in it. I got the majority of my decorations from antique stores. And that is why I dub this room “grand-millennial”. My Nana would absolutely love the way this room is styled. That grandma-ish blue and white china pattern has always been one of my favorites, and was the biggest influence for decorating this room. I’ve been wanting to post this apartment decor update forever! Last year I was just getting started with making my place feel like my own. This year, I think I have accumulated too much stuff. Maybe I am on my way to being a hoarder. But I think the place looks fabulous! I’ve found most of these items at thrift shops, antique stores and my parents’ garage. I am so proud of my cute little apartment. I got almost all of these decorations for free from my mom! I also DIY-ed a bunch of these decorations so go Kim! For only having moved out 6 months ago, I think the place is really coming along. I’m going to be so sad when I have to take everything down. Good thing is, Taylor Swift said I can leave the Christmas lights up til January.

My apartment is really coming together! I am so thrilled with how spooky and festive everything looks for Halloween. The best part is that I didn’t have to buy anything! My mom gave me a bag of decorations she did not want which is what makes up the majority of what you see in these photos. I also thrifted a bunch of these things and even crafted a little bit.
