It’s been a while since I’ve shared some of my favorite things, and considering it’s the end of the summer (kind of) I wanted to share some foods I’ve been loving, what I’ve recently purchased/businesses I support, things I can’t stop listening to and so on. I will make other posts on the books I’ve read, shows I’ve watched, and my recent thrift finds, so be on the look out for those!

Truth be told: there is a lot weighting on my heart right now. And I don’t have the words yet, but I’m getting there. Despite everything happening, I am working on much more articulate blogs for that and am in no way trying to downplay anything with this post. So the past few weeks have been really hard for me. I’ve been working extra hours and not sleeping well just because of stress and anxiety. I’ve been working from home for more than 8 weeks now and I was having some feelings of hopelessness about the whole “reopening of states” and whether things will actually go back to normal soon (if ever). And while I’m trying my best to manage all of that on my own and navigate this “new normal”, I want to share some of the things that have brought me some joy in the midst of all of this chaos. So to kick off the weekend, here are 5 little things that brought me joy this week.

I’ve gone over what I can say and what I can do to actually help with the problem and I still don’t really have a good answer. I’m currently social-distancing at home. I’m lucky my job allows me to continue to work at home. I know a lot of people aren’t as lucky. I know a lot of people are nervous right now too. And scared. And I’m right there with you. And while I myself am seeking comfort and answers right now during this confusing time, I wanted to share some resources that are helping me stay calm, informed and healthy.
