Back in September when I was on my way to Colorado, I finished reading “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo” by Taylor Jenkins Reid on the plane. And I cried my eyes out! I swear- I have never been so thankful for mandatory mask mandate. I am such an ugly crier and could not control myself. I loved this book so much- I knew I wanted to dress up as Evelyn for Halloween. She is iconic for her green dress and platinum hair. While I’m definitely not platinum and this dress is a little darker than the book described, I was able to put this costume and photoshoot together by only purchasing one thing- the gloves! My apartment is really coming together! I am so thrilled with how spooky and festive everything looks for Halloween. The best part is that I didn’t have to buy anything! My mom gave me a bag of decorations she did not want which is what makes up the majority of what you see in these photos. I also thrifted a bunch of these things and even crafted a little bit. I don’t have much to link to, but I hope you at least get some inspiration to decorate your own space with these photos.

I’ve always wanted to dress up as Vivian from Pretty Woman. I know the two-part dress is super iconic, but I think this is an easy Halloween costume you can pull off with stuff from your closet or by thrifting! I already had all of this in my closet, except the skirt which I got off thredUP. I got to meet my nephew!! Bodie Alexander Williams was born on May 24th and I finally got to meet him last week! Jesse and I flew down to Dallas for a fun-packed weekend with Autumn, Seth and Bodie. Happy 26th birthday to me! I love staging birthday photoshoots, and this one is particularly special just because of WHERE I shot these photos. Look I know it’s hard to top last years birthday photoshoot but I had to try! This photoshoot portrays the many feelings I have about turning *barf* 26.
