I’m not even sure I can formally call this a ‘cookie recipe’ just because I don’t even know if these count as cookies. In my town, we call these pretzel-Hershey Kiss-M&M bites ‘belly buttons’ and they are so addicting! Belly buttons are my absolute favorite holiday treat but you can really enjoy them any time of year- its all about presentation. For those who are reading this and are slightly confused as to why I keep talking about belly buttons (kinda gross if you think too hard about it) try to just focus on the pictures in this post before you completely dismiss this recipe.

I had nothing to do with the untimely demise of my wealthy wonderful husband.
Not a single day passes where I don’t create more evidence for the prosecution of my someday murder trial when my sweet, elderly husband mysteriously dies in our mansion and I don’t act the way the media thinks I should. I can hear the lawyer say now: “the signs were there!“. If you ever find yourself in this situation, I would consider dressing as such.

It has taken me so long to post this… but today is Kayla and Tommy’s 1 year anniversary so I can’t think of a better time to post this. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TOMMY AND KAYLA! Let’s all pretend its 2019 again and we can be in large crowds and share drinks and there is not a mask in sight. On December 7th, 2019 my best friend Kayla married the love of her life in Pasadena, MD and I was her maid of honor. You can check out this post to see her bridal shower and this post for her bachelorette party. This blog post is basically a photo dump of their wedding and it makes me smile so big. Is this tan coat or a camel coat? I’m not realizing some people may be looking for how to style a camel coat, but oh well- we’re already here. I rented this long tan coat from Rent the Runway and I totally wanted to keep it ($500+ said otherwise). This coat is so versatile and can make any outfit a little more chic and put together. This is what I like to call a good transition outfit for the week of Thanksgiving. Combining the wool burnt orange/brown sweater with ruby red corduroys is an ideal material and color combo for this next week. This may even be a contender for my Thanksgiving outfit. Plus, I just know I’ll be wearing these pants all December, but most likely paired with forest green and white. Now that it is getting to be the end of fall and beginning of Christmas (which is it’s own season), this is how I would style red corduroy flare pants.

My gut instinct whenever I wear orange is to make an ‘orange you glad…” joke, but I think I’ll pass on that one. But it was on the table! Today I wanted to share this pretty effortlessly-cool outfit that is great for fall, and I wanted to share some exciting news. I took these pictures when I was in Corolla, NC with my friends last week. Taylor, Abby and I drove down the street to see the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. It was definitely a quick sight-seeing trip, but Abby rediscovered what Boomerang was, so clearly it was worth it. I was so happy this sweater was delivered right before my trip so I could pack it. I got it from thredUP and you should keep reading if you want to know why I’m so excited to be wearing it.
