Satin Deep V Dress

Spoiler alert: I don’t have a date for Friday night, but I do have an outfit. Don’t worry I’m not heartbroken about it, mainly because I get to share this outfit here on the blog. I rented this dress from Rent the Runway but definitely feel like I could wear very often if I bought it. I sized up because it does run a little small but sleeves, deep v front and extra fabric hanging from the waist, I realized this would be a great dress for a Valentine’s Day dinner date… IF ONLY I HAD ONE. So this may sound weird, but I am obsessed with textured clothing. Wait…that’s not weird. Oh. Saying “I like wearing clothes with material that encourages people to feel me” is weird. From the lace detail, the sheer sleeves, midi skirt length and super detailed embroidery, this dress is a dream. 2020 Goal: Take Myself Out On Dates

Now that it’s February, you’ll probably find a ton of people with that love is in the air mindset. Well you won’t find that here on this blog. February is more of my month to get my sh*t together (especially with NFF) and to focus on self improvement. February is definitely not about red roses, heart-shaped chocolate boxes and romantic walks on the beach for me. But just because my dating life is non-existent for the time being, doesn’t mean I’m just going to sit at home and do nothing. I’ve been thinking about my goals for this year, and one thing I really want to work on is my confidence in being alone. So for the rest of the year, I am taking myself out on a date once a month.

So how are those New Years Resolutions coming along? We’re almost through the first month of the year, and I know this is when most people start to weaver. Setting Goals for this Next Decade (Without Freaking Myself Out)

I am very anxious about this next decade. There are so many questions that send me spiraling. Am I gonna get married, am I gonna have kids, am I gonna move out, where will I move out to, can I make new friends, can I keep my old friends, who’s still gonna be around, who won’t be… And I freak myself out because a lot can happen in a year and even more can happen in a decade. It’s normal to make goals and have hopes for the next few years to come, but for the next decade of my life? I don’t even know where to start.
