Hope you enjoyed the long 4th of July weekend! I went to West Virginia with my family and then Frederick to visit my freshman year roomie. It was very low-key and relaxing. You can read more about my other adventures this weekend later, but for now here are some of the pictures I took this weekend and on the 4th of July.
Oreo Coolwhip Mud Dessert
The 4th of July is almost here and you know what that means – endless cookouts and great food! But if you’re at a loss as to what to bring to wow your friends and family, look no further. I’ve been making this dessert since I was little (thanks to the help of my mom) and it is always a crowd favorite! Not only is it really simple and cheap to make, this refreshing and cool treat is sure to please everyone!
How To Make The Most Of Online Shopping
Bows and Stripes
The 4th of July is just around the corner! You remember my other post about my thrifting adventures? This is my other find! I’m obsessed with navy and white stripes so when I found this $13 dress the other day, I knew I had to get it! Pairing a dress like this with some white Converse and a few hints of red will get you the perfect 4th of July outfit.
Something Blue
Happy Friday everyone! This weekend I’m attending a wedding, which is awesome because I haven’t been to one in years! This is the absolute perfect occasion to wear this dress I ordered from Lulus. It’s a halter dress with an open back- which means I don’t have to wear a bra with it- and you should know I’m all about that. I’m really big fan of the navy blue color too. They always say you need “something blue” for the wedding…well here I am.
Scallops and Polka Dots
Anyone who knows me knows that my closet is made up of primarily 5 things: black, navy blue, stripes, polka dots and scallops. This blog post combines 3 of my favorite looks! Plus I got the shorts for a STEAL at a thrift shop- $8! This look is perfect for all of the graduation parties you’re invited to this summer!

Here are some random Kim thoughts and what is currently going on in my life:
TBT: Taco Tuesday
Everyone loves tacos! And I think I discovered the best tacos on the Eastern Shore! Last month, my best friend, Allison, and I drove an hour away from school (during finals week-yikes-) just to check out Pico Taqueria in Chincoteague Island, VA. And let me tell you, the drive was totally worth it.
My First Post!
Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog. Bear with me as I try to format it and get it running all by myself. I created this blog as a way to document all my adventures and share with the world what is going on in my life. At some point I’ll have my portfolio and photography website hooked up to this thing. All in good time!
