You know what I need to stop doing? Thrifting shoes. I know, I know – seems gross. And it probably is. But I love thrifting and saving money. Another girl’s trash is Kim’s treasure. I even thrifted these beautiful shoes above (shoutout to the very talented Stephanie for shooting this awesome picture above) but you won’t find them listed in this post. One thing I’ve noticed as I get older is how important it is to have good shoes. Like good quality and comfortable. And shoes I will actually wear too! Gone are the days of super tall heels and uncomfortable sandals that dig into my toes. As the weather gets warmer, I will want to be outside more and also walking around Baltimore to save money on Lyfts. So these are the shoes I have my eyes on this season (but I definitely won’t be buying all of them).

I am so excited about these outfit ideas! I’ve done a few recreations for folklore and evermore over the last few years (I even made an imaginary folklorefest) and I think there are so many potentially amazing lyrics and songs to go off of for your Eras Tour concert. I wanted to combine this post since I don’t even know if they count for different eras. And I don’t know if she will play any of these songs on tour, but a girl can dream.

Okay y’all- it is time for my own personal Super Bowl. This summer, Taylor Swift is going on tour and I am so incredibly lucky + blessed to say I am going to THREE SHOWS! All I can say is that I have amazing friends. I am so excited to dress up and be in the same room as Blondie herself (even if its in the nosebleeds). If you’ve followed my blog for any period of time (or my IG or my TikTok) you will notice I like to recreate iconic Taylor Swift outfits for fun. So when I say that my Super Bowl is about to happen, that is why. I was BORN for this!! One of my love languages is letting my friends borrow my clothes, but I also have a million fun ideas of what someone could wear to the Eras Tour this summer. So I am going to make this a series on the blog. First up: Debut Era!

In a recent blog post, I talked about how I have curbed a lot of my shopping habits since moving out from my parents house. That being said, I still really love shopping. But I can talk myself both into and out of anything if I set my mind to it. The likelihood of me buying all of this is so unlikely, but it still scratches an itch in my brain to see all of these items lined up in a cute little blog post. Take a look at this post, and you will see the inner turmoil I face as I see things I want to buy. I definitely can’t buy any of these until I buy all the plane tickets I need for my summer plans, but if you were curious as to what is in my shopping cart, here it is.

The end of 2022 has finally arrived, so I get to make my favorite blog posts! I love reflecting and looking back on the year. One thing I’ve noticed with my shopping habits this year was that I was much more intentional with what I was buying. There were months where I wasn’t shopping for any clothes or ‘fun’ items, just so I could continue to travel and go out with my friends. I’m not saying that is a bad thing, I just think it’s a lot different from my previous spending habits of 2019 and 2020 when I didn’t have to pay rent.

As they say in the song…you done me wrong
Merry Christmas everyone! It is time for my annual Christmas #Kimberkopy. In the past few year’s I’ve done Martha May Whovier and Cousin Eddy, but this recreation was a year in the making after my Aunt B texted me an idea last year on Christmas Eve. You can find the text message she sent me below! It’s only been recent that I watched ‘White Christmas’ for the first time and Netflix made that easy. There are probably 4 outfits I would love to recreate from this iconic movie, but for now we will stick with Rosemary Clooney’s “Love You Didn’t Do Right By Me” scene. My aunt told me she sees a resemblance between me and Ms. Clooney (which is a lovely compliment) but I don’t really see it. That being said, I am so proud of how this recreation turned out and I hope you enjoy these photos.

I have to admit, I am feeling a little late for the Thanksgiving outfit content (especially if you were planning on buying any of this), but I hope this post can provide you with some inspiration regardless! I would wear any of these outfits to Thanksgiving dinner, but I am leaning towards one in particular. Hope this post gives you an idea for what you can wear on Turkey Day!

Sorry, the earrings above were a gift from my best friend, Kayla. But I like to use my own photos for cover shots.
To keep up with my on-going “trend alerts”, I wanted to make a small guide of all of the holiday earrings I am currently loving. So many of these are already in my shopping cart. Even if you don’t buy them for yourself, you can bet they also many great gifts!

I am so here for the current feather trend I’ve seen on Tiktok, IG and at online stores. I used to have this joke in high school that I was going to wear feathers to a homecoming dance (but I was always too shy to fully commit). Thankfully I am an adult now with adult money and I can buy as many feather fashion items as I desire! Here are the feather items that have stuck out to me recently!

As someone who is constantly on the move, I had a lot of fun making this gift guide. I’ve been keeping my own list of things that have made traveling easier for myself that I think a bunch of my friends would enjoy. So here is my 2022 Travel Gift Guide (for the friend who is like me and is constantly moving around too much).
