Behold! My first gift guide of the year! Yes, I am starting them early. But I know so many people are already gearing up for the holidays and this year we are all being proactive! I kind of dropped the ball on gift guides last year, so I figure if I start early this year, I can at least make 3. Our first gift guide is centered on “the friend who just moved out”. As someone who only moved out from her parent’s house last year, I had so much fun making this guide. Happy Halloween friends! I have saved what I deem as “the best for last” with my final costume for the month. Truth be told, I hardly own any pink (which is why I rented most of this costume) but there is just something about diving headfirst into the pink + feminine vibes on Halloween. After all, Halloween is about getting to put on an outrageous costume and man, do I love to play dress up. I did this other signature Holly Golightly look in 2020 (when I had brown hair) but I have been dying to do this look since I rewatched Breakfast At Tiffany’s. Who else loved this movie in the 2000s?! I think 11 year old Kim would think I’m so cool right now for this Aquamarine costume. And tbh… I was really digging these turquoise extensions. Let’s hear it for the revenge dress! If you don’t know the origin of Princess Diana wearing this dress, you can read more about it here. I really love Princess Diana (check out my other Kimberkopy I did for her here) and have wanted to do this recreation since my mom found this dress in her closet. That’s right, this gorgeous dress is my mom’s! She bought it in the 90’s for a black-tie event she had to go to with my dad. I included a picture of her in it below.
