I did not have this trip on my 2023 Bingo Card! Who would have thought Kim would ever make it to Alaska in her lifetime? I am definitely not what most would consider a “nature girl” but when Allison decided to travel nurse to Alaska for a few months this spring, I just could not pass up the chance to go see her. I spent 8 marvelous days in Alaska, traveling from Anchorage to Fairbanks and everything in between. This trip was definitely a step out fo my comfort zone but it was so rewarding and so fun. Everyone I met was so warm and welcoming, especially the other travel nurses Allison hangs out with. I am so lucky to have been able to go on this trip and so lucky that Allison was willing to host and plan everything. Hope you enjoy these photos (but truthfully, photos don’t do most of these views justice).

Can I just start this blog post by saying, that Autumn is truly the hostess with the mostest. Not only did she secure Eras Tour tickets for us, she and Seth were so wonderful to house me, Cori and Johnny this weekend. Plus, they have a pool now and Bodie is getting so big! I don’t get to see my favorite little fam as often as I would like, but when I do, it’s the best time. This was such a wonderful long weekend and I loved getting to hang out with Autumn’s family too. But most of all, I CANNOT BELIEVE WE GOT TO SEE THE ERAS TOUR!!!! And I get to do this all again in Nashville in May? Sounds fake. What a dream weekend this was. I didn’t take a TON of pictures (I was living in the moment), but here are some random photos and a short recap.

I’m just “enjoying my time”.
On this episode of Kim’s traveling ‘ventures, I flew up to Massachusetts last week to visit Allison. She has been travel nursing since the summer and it was about time I went up to see her. To be honest, it is hard for me to even miss her because she calls me every.single.day. But I had a blast visiting her (per usual) and I wanted to share some pictures.

How lucky am I that I get to say I’ve been to Red Rocks Amphitheater two times now!?! I actually consider myself lucky because I have amazing friends like Melissa and Jordan who allow me to crash at their apartment for random week in August so we can all hang out (and I can threaten to kidnap their cat, Yonce). And even though I worked from home every day (despite the 2 hour time difference) it was absolutely amazing. We hiked, ate great food, drank some dank drinks, went to see The Chicks at Red Rocks and I definitely trauma dumped on them at some point. But that is what friends are for. Here is my long anticipated Denver photo dump.

I love Charleston, I love dressing up and I love these girls! This past weekend I was in South Carolina celebrating the fact that one of my best friend’s (since high school!) is getting married in September. I met Sarah when I was a freshmen and am so thankful to still have her in my life. We spent 4 intended days in Charleston and got 1 extra day because our flight was canceled. I am so happy to have made all of these new friends and have such an amazing weekend. I am making this post a chaotic photo dump, but I did want to share that we:

As it turns out, if you say “Men are trash” 3 times fast with the lights off in your bathroom, I will magically appear at your nearest airport! No joke! That is actually why I took a very random and impromptu trip to see one of my best friends, Kalen, in her parents’ lake house in Guntersville, AL. Last time I was in Alabama was in 2017 for the Ole Miss game and this was my first time seeing Kalen since her van accident. While this trip was super fun and very relaxing, it was so wonderful to see my friend safe and sound. So enjoy this photo dump!

What do you do when you have travel points that expire in April? You throw a dart and go wherever it lands! Maybe that is an exaggeration, considering I have always wanted to go to Rhode Island. My friend Ashley and I decided to take a very random weekend trip and it was delightful! We flew in Providence and stayed near the beaches of Westerly. While of course there were a few speed bumps along the way (BWI forgetting my luggage being the main thing) this was a lovely trip. Normally when I make a trip recap I will include everything I did and everywhere I went, but truth be told, all Ashley and I did was drink, ride our bikes and have some serious girl talk for 72 hours straight. It was the best. So here is a very unorganized photo dump.

I’m pretty sure the inside of the Greenbrier is what the inside of my imagination looks like. My mom and I drove 5 hours to Sulphur Springs, WV for a small girls weekend and for my mom’s birthday. The last girls trip we took together was to Charleston in 2019. It was such a delightful weekend! Here is a photo dump and a quick list of what we did. There is so much to do at the Greenbrier!
