Here are some things I absolutely love: I love the color red. I love Taylor Swift’s album RED. I love red lipstick. I love polka dots. I love that this dress was less than $20. I love gold hour. I love daylight savings. I love that I can wear this dress to work. I love that I can take blog photos after work. I love that I can bribe my best friend to take photos of me. I love that you (yes you, random viewer) are able to see so many little things I love all wrapped up in one blog post.

I have to admit that it’s kind of daunting to me that I will be wearing business casual for the rest of my life. That may seem morbid, but it’s true! Odds are, whatever job I have at any point of my life, I’ll be required to wear some level of business casual/business professional. That being said, I have been trying really hard lately to have my personal style shine through in my professional workwear. I can be really lazy when it comes to getting dressed for work (I don’t even wear make-up to work anymore) but I have been getting a few requests for some easy (and cheap) business casual outfits. Money March

Now that No Fun February is over, I’m moving onto my next monthly theme: Money March. I’ve been joking that Money March is just the month where I spend all the money I saved during No Fun February, but that’s not the case! While I will be spending more money this month, I’ve also made a “to-do” list of sorts that I think will help me make a little more money this month, as well as a few tricks to saving money too. I know we’re already 1/3 of the way through March, but that doesn’t mean its too late to save money!

Blue Wrap Coat

I’m going to have to file this coat under “an article of clothing I bought because Taylor Swift wore it first”. I shamefully bought this beautiful coat during No Fun February, even though I swore I wasn’t going to online shop that month. But I can honestly say I had my eye on this coat for months! Since Christmas! And I had resisted up until the moment I saw Taylor Swift wear a very similar coat after the BAFTA awards a few weeks ago. So I checked on the price of the gorgeous coat I had been looking at during the holidays and of course it was half off and only had one size left-my size. The stars aligned and I truly believe it was meant to be. (At least thats what I tell myself.)

Book Review: Small Great Things

I cannot stop thinking about this book. Seriously. It has totally engulfed my mind since picking it up. I read it for my book club at work. I haven’t read a Jodi Picoult book in years and WOW this is why. They absolutely wreck me and leave me thinking about them for years after I finish them. I read this whole book in maybe a week (which is a big deal for me). It’s been a really long time since a book has left me feeling like this. I found this book to be really thought provoking and especially important in this day and age. Here’s my review!

Museum Musing

A few weekends ago I went to the Baltimore Museum of Art with my friend Jesse. The entire time we basically just took sneak attack pictures of each other admiring the art but also looking sophisticated and intrigued. Maybe I’m just projecting onto Jesse, but here are some of my favorite shots from that day.

Black Lace ‘Blank Space” Recreation

Nice to meet you, where you been? I can show you incredible things…

I have wanted to recreate this look for so long! As you probably already knew from this blog post, Blank Space is one of my all time favorite music videos. I’m all for recreating Taylor Swift looks whenever, but I thought sharing these pictures around Valentine’s Day was…appropriate for the theme of the video. I had so much fun recreating this look and am so happy with how these pictures turned out! All I’m missing is a white cat named Olivia and two white horses for the bedroom. I’m hoping to keep recreating and sharing these Taylor Swift inspired outfits, so let me know what you think!
